The Journal of Psychology in Chinese Societies (JPCS) is an inter-national peer-reviewed journal published bi-annually by The Chinese University Press and the Hong Kong Psy-chological Society. It is the official journal of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. Its principle aim is to promote psychological studies of Chinese people. Its readers, au-thors and editors come from many countries including both Chinese and non-Chinese societies. The JPCS pub-lishes articles on psychological studies conducted in Chinese societies, cross-cultural studies including a Chinese sample, or articles of general interest to psychologists working with or studying Chinese people. Manuscripts submitted should represent a sig-nificant addition to our knowledge or a significant re-view and synthesis of existing literature.

The JPCS is now indexed in Bibliography of Asian Studies, e-psyche, MLA International Bibliography, PsycINFO and Sage Family Studies Abstracts.
