The 61st United College Student Union Executive Committee election was held from 3 to 16 February 2023. The ballots were opened and counted on 21 February 2023 at 2:30 pm at Room 209, Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building, under the supervision of Professor Stephen H S Wong , College Head; Professor Martin C S Wong, Associate College Head and Dean of Students; Ms Crystal K Y Cheung, Associate Dean of Students; Mr Tony M H Chan, College Secretary; Mr George W Y Lam, Senior College Development Officer; Ms Zoe K W Chan, College Development Officer and Mr Sunny K S Fung, Chairperson of the Elections Committee.
A total of 774 students (22.4%) casted their votes in the election. “UCoalesce”, the only cabinet standing for election, was elected the 61st United College Student Union Executive Committee by 753 votes to 7, with 10 abstention and 4 invalidated ballots. The newly-elected office-bearers have assumed office on 1 March 2023. Their names and positions are as follows:
