1. “Harmony of Architecture and the Nature in CUHK” Photo and Painting Contests

CUHK campus is built on a hillside, and the architecture blend perfectly with the natural landscape to form a beautiful scenery. The Committee on Environmental Protection organize “Harmony of Architecture and the Nature in CUHK” Photo and Painting Contests with the aim to encourage students and staff to discover the beauty of architecture in harmony with the nature in the campus, and turn it into a visual art works that share wonderful images. Winners will be awarded with cash prizes and certificates. All NA students and staff are welcome!

2. Subsidy Scheme for Summer Study Abroad

This scheme aims to encourage students to enrich their learning experience and to broaden their horizon by attending summer schools in various overseas universities. The College hopes that such experiences can enable students to deepen their understanding of different culture of places worldwide, develop mutual understanding and foster exchange between universities. 3. New Asia College / Hertford College of Oxford University, Study Abroad and Cultural Exploration Programme 2023

To enhance the language proficiency and let students explore the English culture, a maximum of 15 students will be selected to take part in a three-week summer programme at Hertford College of Oxford University which is one of the oldest 38 colleges within University of Oxford. The programmes include English skills training, study visits, learning on topics such as British architecture, arts, history, literature, current affairs, films and music etc. and also the opportunity to meet some local students.
