Morningside Fellow Rossa Chiu Featured in CU Alumni Magazine

Professor Rossa Chiu, Morningside Fellow and alumna of CUHK, is recently featured in the CU Alumni Magazine. Named the world’s “Top 20 Translational Researchers” by the journal Nature Biotechnology, Prof. Chiu has made significant contributions to the development of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis and successfully applied DNA sequencing technology for cancer detection. A blood test she and her team developed can non-invasively map out multiple types of aberrations in a cancer genome. The ultimate goal of her research is to enable early cancer detection and treatment.
