Sommelier Perry Mok Hosts Wine Tasting Workshop

25 students and Morningside affiliates joined Premier Fine Wine for a wine tasting workshop on Wednesday March 1. Attendees heard about each step in the wine tasting process — how wine is made, the different styles of wine, and what to notice about a wine’s appearance, aroma, and palate. Two varieties of white and black wine were sampled. In addition to learning how to match food with wine, those at the workshop were able to try it themselves with an assortment of cheese, nuts, and fruit. This was the first workshop of its kind since 2015. We hope that the Morningside community continues to broaden its cultural knowledge!
