CUHK’s students won the Hong Kong and Macau Cup in the 12th Challenge Cup held at Dalian University of Technology from 15 to 20 October 2011. This is the fifth gold cup CUHK has got in five consecutive competitions. The 81-member HKSAR delegation from 10 institutions was led by Prof. Henry N.C. Wong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, CUHK to participate in the competition. Among the 51 entries from Hong Kong and Macau, all six projects entered into the competition by the University were highly acclaimed by the panel of judges and were awarded the followings:
