A 15-member delegation led by Prof. Hwung Hwung-Hweng, President of Taiwan Cheng Kung University, visited CUHK on 2 April 2012. Representatives from both sides took the opportunities to share views and opinions on overall collaborative directions and strategies. Discussions were held on a broad range of disciplines and areas spanning engineering, medicine, social science, and humanities and cross-disciplinary subjects. Specific plans were drafted to further strengthen ties and enhance academic exchange between the two universities.
