On 3 November, Prof. Wang Guangtao, member of the Standing Committee and chairman of the Environmental Protection and Resources Conservation Committee, National People’s Congress of PRC; former Minister of Construction; and honorary professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences, CUHK; delivered on campus a public lecture titled ‘New Energy Pilot Cities: Thoughts and Practices,’ and shared with attending experts and academics the importance of building a low carbon economy.
