Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, CUHK Vice-Chancellor, led a six-member delegation to visit Zhejiang University (ZJU) and officiated at the establishment ceremony of The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Zhejiang University Joint Research Centre of Liver and Digestive Diseases with Prof. Yang Wei, President of ZJU, on 20 February. The CUHK delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Infectious Diseases Diagnosis and Treatment, where they received updates on its developments in research collaboration.

Professor Sung stated, ‘The joint research centre will enhance our collaborative efforts in research, becoming a more systemized base for training and gathering of scholars.’
