On 26 November, a 28-member delegation led by Dr. Xu Qin, Deputy Secretary of Communist Party of China Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shenzhen visited CUHK, and was warmly greeted by Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK. During the visit, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of Faculty of Medicine, CUHK signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Shenzhen Otolaryngology Institute to bolster academic exchange. CUHK members expressed interest to foster ties in research and education with institutions in Shenzhen. Dr. Xu Qin said that Shenzhen Municipal Government would offer its strong support to facilitate collaboration.
