Prof. Ho Wing-shing John received his BSc from the University of Alberta, and completed his MA and PhD studies at The State University of New York at Buffalo. After post-doctoral training at SUNYAB and the University of Utah, he joined the Center for Human Toxicology at the University of Utah, where he remained until 1992. He moved back to HK and became a lecturer at CUHK in 1994. His research laboratory focuses on liver carcinogenesis, its treatment with herbal medicines and proteins as biomarkers for liver toxicity.
