To celebrate CUHK’s golden jubilee, the University will form its first ever Golden Jubilee Marathon Team to take on the challenge of Hong Kong’s major annual sports event—the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2013. Staff, students, alumni, and their family members are welcome to join the CUHK team. Interested parties may obtain more information at the 50th anniversary website.
The 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8 December 2013 (Sunday). Sale of dinner tickets will commence in the first quarter of 2013.
The second anniversary video has already been uploaded. In the video, several CUHK members with a long-term association with the University share their stories, including Amy from the Basic Medical Sciences Building Snack Bar and her favourite dessert lemon pie.
