This year 11 students were awarded the Professor Charles K. Kao Research Exchange Scholarships to go on research exchange at prestigious universities in the UK, the US, Singapore and mainland China. The awardees are from different fields, two of them majoring in physics, three in information engineering, three in biomedical engineering, and one each in electronic engineering, computer engineering and computer science.
