50 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2017–2018 聯合國可持續發展香港分會成立 2017年10月聯合國可持續發展解決方案網 絡（SDSN）執行委員會正式確認中大和香港 賽馬會共同主持的「SDSN香港」為SDSN國 際網絡的一員，並於2018年1月8日在校園舉 行啟動典禮。SDSN鼓勵不同區域和背景的 專家一同實踐減貧、實現平等、應付氣候轉變 等可持續發展目標。香港分會的成立，標誌着 香港對改善環境的承擔。主持啟動儀式的嘉 賓為：行政長官林鄭月娥女士（左二）、聯合 國SDSN負責人杰弗瑞  • 薩克斯教授（右二）、 時任香港賽馬會副主席周永健先生（左一）， 以及中大校長段崇智教授（右一）。 UN Sustainability Network Extended to Hong Kong The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Hong Kong Chapter, co-hosted by CUHK and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was officially recognized by the Executive Committee of UN SDSN as a national network in October 2017. Its launch ceremony was held on 8 January 2018 on campus. The UN SDSN mobilizes expertise from different regions and backgrounds to implement various sustainable development goals that seek to eradicate poverty, fight inequalities, and tackle climate change. The extension of the network to Hong Kong signifies the city’s commitment to a greener future. Officiating at the ceremony were Mrs. Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the HKSAR (2nd left); Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Director of SDSN, UN (2nd right); Mr. Anthony Chow, then Deputy Director of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (1st left); and Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice- Chancellor and President of CUHK (1st right). 支持永續發展 Championing Sustainable Development 大學藉研究和倡議，推廣能緜延不絕的生活方式，裨益後世。 Through research and advocacy efforts, the University actively promotes a viable way of life that benefits our progeny.
