The CUHK Bridge to China Team is a university volunteering team formed under this Centre with the support and guidance from Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation. Since 2009, the team has participated and organised numerous investigation trips on villages, bridge building projects and public health programmes with the help of CUHK students. Apart from the above, the team has participated in local construction projects to restore old villages and preserve local culture.
Recruitment of Core Members
The CUHK Bridge to China Team of this academic year is now recruiting core members. They are required to cooperate with the universities in the Mainland and of Hong Kong to understand and cater the needs of the villagers through coordinating projects for livelihood improvement. Details are as follows:
Requirements
Non-final-year students
Able to communicate in basic Mandarin
Term of service: 12 months (late-October 2021 to early-October 2022)
Responsible and self-motivated
Interested in understanding the challenges experienced by remote villages in the Mainland
Students from all disciplines are welcomed

To allow students to have a deeper understanding of the services of the CUHK Bridge to China Team, a tour to Yim Tin Tsai Village has been organised, through which participants can practise village investigation skills. All CUHK students are welcomed to join it. Details are as follows:
