I obtained my Bachelor of Medicine in Nursing and Master of Medicine in Nursing (Research Master) degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2010 and 2013 respectively.
When studying at Xi’an Jiaotong University, I was awarded National Scholarship for Postgraduate Students, Xin Xing Scholarship, Excellent Postgraduate Student Cadre Award, Excellent Postgraduate Student Award and Excellent Graduate Student Award. In addition, I had also received Tang Zhongying Scholarship for five times, Siyuan Scholarship for three times, 1st Prize in Social Practice for three times and the Excellent Student at Undergraduate Study Award.
During my undergraduate years, I actively participated in several programmes sponsored by the Chinese National Science Foundation and CMB Foundation, and also joined the Mass Medical Education Magazine Agency to promote public health of local residents in Xi’an.
To enhance my research capacity, I served as principal investigator in two research projects, including a project on psychometric properties of the Personal Diabetes Questionnaire and the Appraisal of Diabetes Scale, and a survey on the self-management status of Type 2 diabetes patients in Xi’an. I had also engaged in teaching Diagnostics at Shaanxi Radio & TV University and was selected as the sole representative for the Young Nursing Faculty Training Programme in Peking Union Medical College, Beijing.
