简历

I obtained my Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and English from Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology respectively in 2010; and my Master’s degree in Nursing from Wuhan University in 2012. I have received many scholarships and awards in recognition of my outstanding academic performance and collaborative leadership skills, including the National Scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship, 2nd Prize for Excellent Scientific Research Achievements of College Students in Hubei Province, and Outstanding Student Leader of Wuhan University, etc. I was honoured as an outstanding student during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

I had been working at The People’s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Guangxi Academy of Medical science) from 2012, assuming the positions of Clinical Nurse, Vice-Head Nurse of the Chemotherapy Department, and Vice-Director of the Nursing Department over the years. During my employment, I was trained in the Health Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for 15 months in nursing administration, policymaking, and implementation. Moreover, I was trained in the Science and Technology Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for five months in research project management. These valuable experiences have strengthened my mission to build on my knowledge and develop scientific evidence to improve people’s health. 

I have a great passion and interest in nursing science and have been actively involving in nursing research programmes since I was an undergraduate student. I have been a visiting scholar at the School of Public Health, University at Albany (State University of New York). After participating in the student-oriented PhD Virtual Summer Workshop 2021 held by the Nethersole School of Nursing, which guided participants on what can been done and achieved during three years of full-time study, I decided to pursue my PhD degree. The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme offers me a valuable chance to broaden my vision and excel in research at CUHK.
