为不同慢性病患者的家庭照顾者提供支援
一直以来，尤其是在亚洲和华人社会，家庭都担负主力照护责任，而社会的期望亦持续影响着提供／接受照护的模式。有见于家庭照顾者在支援慢性病患者方面担当着重要角色，我们的研究团队制订并验证了多项以循证为本的创新社会心理介入措施，帮助家庭照顾者在照顾不同年龄、不同病情的患者时，亦能提升自身的身心健康。例如：
- 为严重精神病患者的家庭照顾者提供正念疗法、互助支援、由照顾者／专业人员引导的自学计划，以及心理教育小组支援服务；
- 为中风患者的照顾者制订以优势为本的解难介入措施；及
- 为有特殊健康需要的儿童之家长提供接纳与承诺治疗 (ACT)。
