Professor Gigi Fung is an Associate Professor (Practice in Nursing) of the Nethersole School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree from The University of Sydney, Australia; and Master of Business Administration degree from The University of South Australia, Australia.

Professor Fung had been the General Manager (Nursing) of the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and Tai Po Hospital for seven years, providing directions for the overall development of nursing services, policies, standards and quality. Her expertise and experience focus on nursing practice, management and leadership.
