促進中風後自我管理及康復進程
中風後的康復過程漫長而複雜，期間患者需面對生理、心理與社交等方面的種種挑戰，以及應對中風後常見的後遺症如活動、認知和感官功能受損等，故此需要進一步探討有效促進中風後康復的循證介入方案。
盧海珊助理教授進行了多項研究，探討以提升自我效能和成果預期為基礙的自我管理計劃，能否有效促進社區中風人士的康復進程，並制訂了一套透過社區支援助患者提升自我效能的中風後自我管理計劃。研究結果顯示，此創新的自我管理模式有助中風病人在出院回家過渡期間的自我管理及促進康復。另一方面，周柏珍教授研發及評估了多項創新的中風康復服務及介入方案，例如虛擬跨專科中風護理診所、幫助患者融入社會的虛擬實境介入方案、坐式太極拳等，為拓展中風康復知識和科學實踐作出貢獻。她還就針灸治療對紓緩中風後偏癱肩痛，以及坐式太極拳對促進身心健康及人際關係之成效，進行系統綜述並發表有關研究成果。
目前，我們的研究團隊正進行多項創新研究，以幫助中風人士重投社區及在家進行平衡、步態和記憶力訓練。我們更設計和驗證了數個繁體中文版中風專用量表，以測量中風人士對自我管理和社會參與的自我效能感，以及其軀幹損傷程度和健康相關生活質素等。
