為不同慢性病患者的家庭照顧者提供支援
一直以來，尤其是在亞洲和華人社會，家庭都擔負主力照護責任，而社會的期望亦持續影響着提供／接受照護的模式。有見於家庭照顧者在支援慢性病患者方面擔當着重要角色，我們的研究團隊制訂並驗證了多項以循證為本的創新社會心理介入措施，幫助家庭照顧者在照顧不同年齡、不同病情的患者時，亦能提升自身的身心健康。例如：
- 為嚴重精神病患者的家庭照顧者提供正念療法、互助支援、由照顧者／專業人員引導的自學計劃，以及心理教育小組支援服務；
- 為中風患者的照顧者制訂以優勢為本的解難介入措施；及
- 為有特殊健康需要的兒童之家長提供接納與承諾治療 (ACT)。
