This thesis means to investigate the senses of literary imagination in the works of George Berkeley, Jonathan Swift, Motoori Norinaga, Higuchi Ichiyō, among other writers, as a form of imagination regulated by communal rules of language associating words, phrases, etc. and other ideas.
