Exemptions granted by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers

Economics graduates of 2005 and thereafter are granted :

  1. The 2005 & 2006 graduates of Economics and the current students are allowed to enter the Associateship Examination of HKIB provided that they have submitted the application for Entry Qualification Assessment. Entry Qualification Assessment is a procedure applicable to all members wishing to enter the Associateship Examination.

  2. The graduate students of 2005, 2006 and thereafter of our programme will be granted exemption from the subjects "Investments" and "Monetary and Financial System" of the Associateship Examination, only if the specialization of "Financial Economics" was taken during the period of study.

  3. The graduate students of 2005, 2006 and thereafter of our programme will be granted the following subject exemptions from the Associateship Examination, only if the following electives were taken during their period of study.
