Tim Carey is an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a former Professional Consultant and Lecturer for the same department. At CUHK, Tim teaches Masters students in Industrial/Organizational Psychology topics, such as Training and Talent Management. Previously taught undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of topics, including Counseling Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Tim is also a founding partner of atrain Hong Kong, Ltd, a talent development firm With offices in eight countries. He has been living in Asia for the past 19 years and has been consulting in Talent Development for the entire time, across Asia, Europe and the Middle East as well as the US.

Tim has also presented to HR professionals on talent development across Asia, at a variety of conferences. A sought-after speaker, he focuses on applied, practical solutions to a variety of talent development issues.

Tim graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He is also a Registered Psychologist with the Hong Kong Psychological Society, where he served as Vice Chairman and Chairman from 2011-2015.
