Media Professionals in Residence Programme

The School of Journalism and Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong debuts this new programme offering the world’s top media professionals an opportunity to share their expertise, engage with the campus community, and collaborate with university scholars. Participants will spend eight weeks on campus, participating in lectures and events, and serving as a resource for students, faculty and staff.

Senior Investigative Journalist. She was a Harvard Nieman Fellow (2019-2020) and former Senior Writer at Caixin Media and Southern Metropolis Weekly.

LIU Min

Nonfiction writer and editor with experience in both GQ China and Lifeweek Magazine. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Feature Director at Esquire China. Her writing covers a range of topics including social inequality, sexual violence, the impact of AI, and China's growing consumerism, etc.

WANG Qing

Multimedia journalist specialized in global affairs. She is committed to helping the world understand China, and China the world (especially Europe). She has ten years’ experience in covering important political and economic stories with a cross-border perspective and a human-centred approach. She currently serves as the Chief International Correspondent at Jiemian News. She also co-hosts a popular podcast “The Weirdo,” which was awarded as 2020 Annual New Show by Apple Podcast China and has nearly one million subscribers.
