The Centre for Chinese History (CCH) was established in 2004 by the Department of History to promote and facilitate research on Chinese history. Members of the Centre include teaching staff and senior postgraduate students of the Department.
The CCH serves the research interest of its members by organizing in-house seminars, guest lectures, and conferences on selected topics. It also conducts exchanges with scholars local and overseas who specialize in the political, social, economic, intellectual, and cultural aspects of later imperial China.
