PHYS1712 Physics Laboratory I

Course Description

This is a beginning course in experimental physics with an aim to help the students to develop basic skills in performing experimental measurements, handling, utilizing and programming basic equipment, as well as building necessary concepts and attitudes in data and error analysis. The experiments also serve to illustrate the principles and to reinforce the concepts taught in the lecture course PHYS 1111.

Prerequisite: permission of the instructor.
