Visa and Related Matters

All non-local students must have a valid student visa, i.e. the current limit of stay does not expire, for pursuing studies at the University. By breaching a condition of stay, non-local students may be prosecuted by the Immigration Department and shall be liable on conviction to a fine at level 5 (HK$50,000) and to imprisonment for 2 years.
