The Department of Chinese Language and Literature offers a variety of courses ranging from classical to modern literature. To cope with the needs of the community, courses are categorised into two types: basic and specialty.
Our programme aims at training students to master the characteristics of Chinese language and literature, and to understand its development. In addition, our students are well-trained to equip with abilities in literary appreciation, criticism, and writing.
