Prof. Yung Wing-ho and Prof. Ke Ya, Professor and Associate Professor of the School of Biomedical Sciences and the Gerald Choa Neuroscience Centre, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), held a press conference on 4 July 2017. In the press conference, the professors announced their unveiling of the intricate processes of motor memory formation taking place in the brain, which explained how higher animals master a new motor skill and helped understand the malfunctions of the nervous system in Parkinson’s disease, stroke and many other motor disorders so that better therapies could be developed.
