The Advanced Biophotonics Imaging Laboratory (http://www.bme.cuhk.edu.hk/yuan) is a multi-disciplinary research team at CUHK-BME. ABI Lab's research focuses on developing:
ABI Lab is now seeking multiple postdoc fellows and RA in the fields of optical imaging and sensing, robotic endoscopy and medical image analysis. The scholars will have opportunities to work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of clinicians and researchers from optics, robotics, imaging/sensing, AI and medicine. The initial appointment is for 1 year, and it will be renewable subject to satisfying performance. The candidates should have a PhD/Master/Bachelor degree in optics, computer science, mechanical/electronic Engineering, robotics, mechatronics, automation background. He/she should have published academic papers in at least one of the following areas: OCT imaging, optics, AI, robots, sensors, instrumentation, intelligent systems. For this call, priority will be given to self-motivated candidates with strong academic and publication records.
Successful applicants will be expected to work on developing novel diagnostic imaging systems (eye or endoscopic imaging) and AI-assisted medical image analysis technologies and perform related preclinical and clinical studies. The applicants will work closely with collaborators from Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine. They are also expected to mentor current CUHK students.
