ICS is saddened to learn of the passing of the honorary research fellow, Dr. Suzanne Pepper on June 29, 2022. Dr. Pepper was a Hong Kong-based American writer and political scientist. She had been a research fellow at the Universities Services Centre on China Studies (USC) since 1978 until January 2021 when she transferred to ICS as honorary research fellow. She also joined the Hong Kong Free Press as a contributing writer since 2015. Dr. Pepper will be greatly missed. May her soul rest in peace and light forever.

This is to announce that the University has approved the new affiliation of the Research Centre for Translation to the Faculty of Arts with effect from 1 October 2021.
