Openings for the following positions are currently available:

 

SH20230209US – Student Helpers, User Services (Closing Date: 31 March 2023)
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the User Services Office of the University Library.

Job Duties:
(i) prepare graphics for library service promotion with graphic design software;
(ii) update the videos of learning objects; and
(iii) other clerical duties as assigned.

Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm during weekdays.

Working Location: User Services Office, G/F, Tin Ka Ping Building

Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Special Collections Office of the University Library.

Job Duties:
(i) data entry (Traditional Chinese);
(ii) newspaper clipping; and
(iii) other duties as assigned.

Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:00 pm during weekdays

Working Location: Special Collections Office, 6/F, Tin Ka Ping Building

Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the  Universities Service Centre for China Studies Collection (USC) of the University Library.

Job Duties:
(i) stock-taking of USC material and maintain an accurate inventory record;
(ii) review online content for website migration;
(iii) prepare source data for digitization and perform quality check of digital files; and
(iv) other duties as assigned.

Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Working Location: USC, 8/F and 9/F, University Library; and Postgraduate Hall 4 Storage Room

Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

Job Duties:

(ii) assist in inventory work;

(iv) other clerical duties as assigned.

(iii) other duties as assigned.

Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week* and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during weekdays (*may engage more working hours during summer time from 1 June to 31 August 2022)
