Dr. Kevin LAI (黎志偉) is a Lecturer in the Office of General Education of CUHK. He currently teaches the course 'in Dialogue with Nature' within the General Education Foundation Programme.

Lai obtained his BS and MPhil in physics from CUHK, and his PhD from the University of British Columbia, where he conducted research on black holes physics and simulations. He then spent another two years in South Africa as a postdoctoral fellow for another extended research in the same field. Prior to rejoining CUHK, he was an instructor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he taught subjects on physics, astronomy and astrophysics for five years.
