Biography
Dr. Lok-kan So obtained his LLB and LLM (Maritime and Transportation Law) from City University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD from King’s College London and his thesis analysed the possible reform solutions for the insurance law in Hong Kong. Dr. So is now a Lecturer at the School of Accountancy, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to that, he worked as a Lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he taught international trade law and trade regulations and compliance. Before joining the academia, Dr. So worked in the private sector and specialised in commercial contracts and commercial insurance claims.
