Call for applications: Fellowships offered by Joint Center for Advanced Studies in Germany (Deadline: 10 October 2021)
The Fellowships offered by the Joint Center for Advanced Studies on “Worldmaking from a Global Perspective: A Dialogue with China” are now open for application.
The Center is jointly organized by researchers at universities in Berlin, Göttingen, Heidelberg, Munich, and Würzburg. It offers fellowship programmes to promote academic exchange and dialogue between Chinese and German scholars.
In particular, the Visiting Fellowships allow internationally renowned scholars with a Chinese university background, including CUHK, to visit selected institutions in Germany for one to three/four months during April to August 2022. Each fellowship provides a monthly stipend of €3,170 during the stay (plus family supplements, depending on personal circumstances). Additionally, international travel costs up to €1,300 and national travel costs for travels to other locations of the Center during the stay in Germany will be funded.
