WS Teacher’s Message #10

Dear students,

I wish you have all had a joyful Christmas and New Year break and has had a good start of the new semester.

I understand that some of you may had some difficult times in the last two or three years in your studies or in life, with quite a lot going on. Now it is the Lunar New year. Yet, we are facing another wave of COVID outbreak. It may be impossible for you to enjoy big gatherings with your family and friends, especially for non-local students who are staying in Hong Kong “alone” during the holiday season.

As by Prof. Chui in his previous message, life is unpredictable. There are always ups and downs. We each need to face & fight our own monsters. But I hope to let you know that you are not alone in the fighting. You can always talk to families and friends (even not face-to-face), and I am sure each of the LWS teachers including myself would be very happy to be there for you if you feel lonely, confused or sometimes frustrated with the challenges/difficulties.

The LWS college is a very warm family – I hope you can all enjoy your time with the college and wish you all a healthy and happy Year of Tiger!
