FINAL Examination Timetable, 1st term 2022-23 |
Dear Students, |
Please note the following information pertaining to 1st term FINAL Examination Timetable. |
1. |
FINAL Examination Timetable |
The FINAL Examination Timetable has been released on CUSIS under the tab “Exam Timetable for UG Courses” today (9 November 2022). Students MUST check carefully their FINAL Examination Timetable under CUSIS for the date, time, venue and seat number assigned for each examination. For examinations to be held by individual Departments, the seat number will NOT be assigned in students’ final examination timetable. Students concerned should follow the arrangements of Departments concerned in seating arrangements. |
For individual students with special education needs (SEN), the FINAL Examination Timetable released may NOT be applicable to them. Students concerned should refer to separate e-mail/notification from RES/course teachers/Departments for their examination arrangements, and contact RES if they have not received the information by 21 November 2022. They may also refer to the examination information posted on RES website for the date of the concerned examinations. |
Students MUST attend the course examinations according to the information stated in their Final Examination Timetable. If a student goes to a wrong examination venue, s/he will NOT be assigned the seating in the wrong examination venue and has to take his/her own time to go to the correct venue without time compensation if s/he is late for that examination session. |
2. |
Vaccine Pass arrangements for entry into the campus |
Please pay attention to the announcement dated 21 September 2022 about the vaccine pass arrangements for entry into the campus. Please note point 2 of the announcement that “Starting from 30 November, all students, staff, alumni and visitors (aged 12 or above) are required to have received the third dose before they can enter campus or university facilities”. |
3. |
Absence from Centralized Course Examinations |
Students who cannot attend the examination(s) on the specified examination date stated in the FINAL Examination Timetable MUST apply for absence from examination in accordance with University Regulations. A student who is absent from any examination without permission shall be given a failure grade in that examination. Please observe the following in submitting the applications. |
i. |
For reasons other than medical reasons: Students should submit application as early as possible with related supporting documents for consideration and approval by relevant approval authority. |
ii. |
For medical and/or other health reasons: Students should submit application with the original copy of the medical certificate (NOT attendance certificate) covering the day of the examination concerned at the earliest possible instance but in any case not later than 5 working days after the examination concerned. |
