Professor Gordon Cheung, Faculty Coordinator of GLOBE at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, presented the ideas of GLOBE at the Academy of Management in Hawaii in August 2005. Academy of Management is an international organization of academics in management and the annual meeting was attended by more than 5,000 participants. Professor Cheung’s presentation was one of the five presentations in the Symposium “Curriculum and Program Internationalization: Looking Backward – Looking Forward”, which has been named the 2005 Management Education and Development (MED) Division Best Symposium, sponsored by McGraw-Hill Publishers. While all other presentations were on internationalization of MBA programs, GLOBE was recognized as the pioneer program that provided extensive international exposures to undergraduate business students.
