出版年據王世懋序.
万历九年乔懋敬刊刻王世懋评点《世说新语》，一作豫章本。书前有万历庚辰王世懋序言，云“乔公见之，亟相赏誉，即授梓人”之语。乔公即乔懋敬，字允德，上海人，嘉靖乙丑（1565）进士，官至湖广右布政使。王世懋辩证疏解的文字刻于书眉。版心下方镌刻工名“曹勉吾”。广东藏书家、京师四大才子之一沈宗畸插架珍品。这是明代较具影响的《世说新语》评点本之一。此本版刻精工，行格疏朗，犹可珍贵。
