Lau’s works arise from daily observations and the visual power of written language. Themes such as religion, ancient civilisations and tribal culture shape her recent interest. Chui Suet Wai specializes in Chinese gongbi paintings and mineral rock painting, and depicts the feeling and emotion in her artworks. She seeks the possibilities of Chinese traditional painting and combine the popular culture in her artworks. |
