Most of the posters presented in this section are not satirical caricatures but images lauding various Red Guard groups. Most of them show young rebels performing propaganda activities or criticizing Liu Shaoqi. There are also some images that expose the repercussions of Red Guards’ factionalism among family members, as in the case of this poster. Nevertheless, as explained in the introduction of the collection, this image is a copy of Fang Cheng’s cartoon “Family” (家庭, jiating), published in the 1970s. The image, therefore, appears to be wrongly dated. This section contain also some anonymous pictures inspired by the model opera The White-Haired Girl (白毛女, Baima nü)
