Title: Mask Series – Fading Memories Artist: YANG Xiao Hua Artwork Introduction: The artwork is one of the wooden sculpture series by Professor Yang Xia Hua of the sculpture department of The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. The simply style together with skillful carving techniques fully display the artwork’s personality. The artist mocks the corrupt government officials with the unmistakable villain from a Peking Opera, which makes people ponder again and again.
