The Service
The Faculty Liaison Programme is designed to support the teaching and research needs of Faculty members. The goals of the Programme include to:
- Enhance formal and informal communication between the Library and Faculty
- Increase awareness and use of Library resources and services
- Strengthen Library collections to meet curricular and research needs
- Provide relevant information literacy instruction and support life-long learning initiatives
Liaison librarians are assigned to each Faculty and provide assistance on the following:
Teaching and Learning Support
- Assist in building and maintaining a well balanced discipline-based collection
- Procure course reading materials
- Integrate Library resources and services into Blackboard
- Provide customized library instruction sessions
- Develop and enhance subject and course guides
Research Support
- Provide research consultation and advise on relevant resources relating to a subject discipline Please contact research@lib.cuhk.edu.hk for enquiry
