Chinese Language and Literature: Useful Websites

A relational database with Chinese biographical information from the 7th through 19th century. It is a joint project developed by Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University, Institute of History and Philology of Academia Sinica, Taiwan, and Center for Research on Ancient Chinese History at Peking University.

The online digital archive of the McGill-Harvard-Yenching LibraryMing-Qing Women's Writings Digitization Project contains digitally scanned images of 90 titles of collections of writings by women that are in the holdings of the Harvard-Yenching Library. Roughly half of the titles are part of the Hart Collection housed in the Rare Book Room. In addition, several titles printed between the late Ming (1600s) and the Qianlong period (1736-1795) also come from the Rare Book Collection. The remaining titles are located in the regular Chinese collection of the Harvard-Yenching Library.

Includes short stories in “Taipei People 台北人” and their English translations, “New Yorkers 紐約客”, the novel “Crystal Boys 孽子”, and several essays. It encompasses an extensive assortment of printed works, literary manuscripts and other material relating to the novels, plays, short stories, and films adapted from the work of Pai Hsien-Yung.

系統將臺灣國家圖書館珍藏的大批手稿資料全文掃瞄上網，提供不同的檢索路徑，讓讀者欣賞和研究。
