SKLA Director Prof. Hon-Ming Lam was awarded Choh-Ming Li Professorships (Choh-Ming Li Professor of Life Sciences) to recognize his tremendous efforts and remarkable achievements in teaching and research. The ceremony for the inauguration of Choh-Ming Li Professorships was held on 5 January 2022.
This professorship is named after the late Dr. Choh-Ming Li, founding Vice-Chancellor of CUHK. The Choh-Ming Li Professors will be provided with funds to support their academic and research pursuits during the appointment term of five years.
