The 19th Agrobiotechnology Talk Series ‘Soybean Industry in China and Asia: Today and Tomorrow’ was held online via zoom with a total of 62 participants attended. Prof. Tianfu Han, Professor at the Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, shared the stories of soybean and soyfood in the Chinese history, introduced the current status of soybean production and trade in Asia, and summarized the research progress of soybean in China. He has also discussed the strategy of using soybean and soyfood to support the sustainable development of modern agriculture and well-off life of billions of people.
