| Objective | The China-U.S. Scholars Program (CUSP) is an exchange fellowship program for Chinese and American scholars and students in the arts, humanities and social sciences to teach, study or conduct research abroad in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR or the U.S. in 2021-2022. The program will award 48 grants to selected faculty and students. | ||

–Â Â Â Â Hold a terminal degree (PhD, EdD, etc.). For artists, the terminal degree requirement can be substituted with 5+ years of significant professional experience –Â Â Â Â Postdoctoral researchers –Â Â Â Â Faculty at a higher education institution –Â Â Â Â Independent scholars –Â Â Â Â Scholars affiliated with thinktanks, research centres or other bodies with a research-centred focus –Â Â Â Â Proficiency in relevant language needed to teach or research |
