Call for Applications: Durham University – IAS Fellowship Scheme 2023-34 (Deadline: 17 June 2022)
The Institute of Advanced Study (IAS) at Durham University (Durham) is inviting applications for its IAS Fellowship scheme for 2023-24. Up to 20 IAS Fellows will be selected for a 3-month visit at Durham, between October and December 2023 or January and March 2024, to carry out collaborative research which directly complements one of the IAS Major research Projects in 2023-24 or with a Durham academic(s) in any interdisciplinary projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least five years’ experience following the completion of a PhD, or at least five years equivalent professional experience for a non-academic practitioner.
- Applicants must have a Durham host and a collaboratively composed Fellowship plan/proposal.
- Previous recipients of an IAS Fellowship are not eligible to apply.
Scope of Support
- An honorarium of GBP3,000
- A travel allowance
- Accommodation
- Office space
