Call for Applications: St. Gallen Symposium Global Leadership Challenge & Global Essay Competition
The 52nd St. Gallen Symposium hosted by the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland is now calling for applications for its Global Leadership Challenge and Global Essay Competition. Winners will be offered to attend the St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland as Leaders of Tomorrow with expenses for travel and accommodation fully covered.
Global Leadership Challenge (GLC) 2022 (Deadline: 24 October 2022)
Aim | Global Leadership Challenge is a joint initiative of the St. Gallen Symposium and the University of Oxford to connect young leaders across boundaries to address sustainable development goals (SDGs) and enable them to become responsible leaders in their local contexts.
The core theme for GLC 2022 is ‘A New Generational Contract’ focusing on four SDG challenges:

St. Gallen Global Essay Competition (Deadline: 1 February 2023)
Aim | St. Gallen Global Essay Competition is a global student essay competition, offering students who study at graduate or postgraduate level around the world the opportunity to apply for participation at the St. Gallen Symposium.
The annual St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for cross-generational dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time. Participants can engage with 300 of the society’s brightest young minds and join the debate with 600 senior leaders worldwide. |

Essay Submission | Max. 2,100 words essay on the theme ‘A New Generational Contract’ addressing one of the following two questions:
A) What’s the best legacy your generation has inherited from those before you? And how can we preserve it? B) What’s the worst legacy your generation has inherited from those before you? And how can we replace it?
